Hmmm…I wonder what cheeky Si-Won is looking at lol :D Caught Super Junior’s Super Show 6 during the May Day holiday and it was much fun. The boys delivered 3.5 hours of solid entertainment during their 6th world tour concert, delivering their signature dance numbers, ballads, hilarious banter (Tonight I go to your room”) as well as a Frozen Elsa costume parade much to the delight of the mainly female audience.
Heechul showed off his drumming skills during the start of the show – he looked so suave and hearts fluttered together with his wavy hair.
Oh, Donghae you look so cool!
The boys’ impersonation of Elsa from Disney’s hit animation Frozen left the audience in stitches. There’s Eunhyuk as “Elsa Jackson”, Kyuhyun as “Big Elsa” (check out his humongous blonde wig!) and Heechul was SO convincing as Princess Anna I thought he was a girl! :p
I think the boys had fun during their wacky parade which left me wondering “What just happened?!?” Kudos for being so sporty.
Leetuk was a muscular “ElSapphire Blue” trying to hold his/her boobies in place.
Oh Donghae, you make a plain T-shirt and jeans look like a million bucks :)
Si-won the luminous (literally!) poster boy of the group
Heechul, Eunhyuk and Leetuk
Even their serious look is so cute heh
Good to see the boys enjoying themselves, and it’s no wonder they can hold their fame for 10 years. I am sure they have many more good years to come, and I am looking forward to Super Show 7 :)
Spotted at Laneway Singapore 2015: Dude partying with his feathered headdress, he sure looks kinda cool. Kudos for effort. Would you don one to your favourite concert too?
I recently caught hip hop duo Leessang’s first Asia showcase at Shanghai Dolly in Clarke Quay with oppa Darren. While both members are more recognized for their participation in Korean variety programs Infinite Challenge (Gill) and the wildly popular Running Man (Gary), Leessang has produced 8 albums with at least one #1 hit in each.
Gary & Gill!
Kang Hee-gun or more affectionately know as Gary in SBS’s Running Man. He is also the group’s rapper and writes the lyrics for their songs.
Judging from the music showcase, he’s quite the ladies’ man with his honeyed-tongue too ;)
Gil Seong-joon (Gill) the husky vocalist of the group
Even without saccharine looks nor addictive dance moves, LeeSsang does know how to work up a crowd
She must be the happiest fan that day Gary gamely played “Pepero” with this lucky fan, a game where both bite on a cookie stick to see how long before they stop (for modesty’s sake). Gill naughtily pushed Gary’s head forward, much to the fan’s delight. Even the emcee was captivated.
17 years of friendship and showmanship honed from participation in variety programs showed in their comfortable interaction with each other – and crazy antics. Towards the end of the music showcase, they gave each other a splashing good time – by downing each other with bottles of water.
I was quite sure the fans thoroughly enjoyed the entertaining, albeit short, music showcase. Cos’ they refused to leave after the showcase has ended, not even when the host repeatedly announced that there were no more encores. They only left after Gary and Gill personally came out to thank them for their support. I have never seen anything like this LOL. I’m sure they will be looking forward to Gary coming back next Feb to promote his new album.
Oh god, why is this happening to me? With the number of technical glitches that happened during the night, Show Luo must be wondering if he got out of the wrong side of bed that day. But it was also one of the best concerts I have been to, and the multi-talented Taiwanese star demonstrated why he is Asia’s Dancing King and a top-notch host.
I was of two minds if I should go catch Show Luo’s Over The Limit 2013 World Live Tour in March, and was glad I did. The night was fraught with technical glitches due to a faulty sound system, but Xiao Zhu (as he is affectionately called by his fans) managed to overcome the embarrassing situation with witty banter and self-deprecating humour. And the audience lapped it all up. If he ever decides to call it quits in showbiz, I know he certainly has a talent at crisis management!
As for me – the technical glitch was a blessing in disguise – I was finally convinced that the dude CAN sing as well as he dances :D It also gave more time for him to interact with the audience; he was ever friendly, humorous, and down-to-earth…just the way I remembered first seeing him on TV and getting addicted to his show.
Opening the concert in style
Stylo-mylo Love his loud pink hair! Would match my previous blue hair so well…haha
Putting out the moves
Turning the heat up with a sexy dancer
Strike a pose
Going tribal
Belting out his popular duet with Xiao S “恋爱达人” – alone.
And this is where the intermittent technical glitches turned serious – and went pitch blank The sound system konked out in the middle of a dance number, and the performer had to stop abruptly. Xiao Zhu looked like either he was going to cry, or burst out in vulgarity
For 15 minutes while waiting for the sound system to be restored, Xiao Zhu put his hosting skills and quick wit to good use, chatting with the crowd and teasing him with his well-toned body.
He also called his assistant on stage to apply oil on his arms to make them look bigger. I WANT HER JOB.
To buy time, the performer even broke out in a Hokkien song 爱拼才会赢 – to the delight of the audience. Shortly after, the sound system came back on to his great relief. I wondered what he was going to do next if the technical glitch carried on…I would welcome a burlesque show! LOL
A quick costume change and he appeared on top of the moving panther’s head
You gotta check out his suit – it’s LED-wired! I need to get one made for myself complete with wings…
It’s Show time
I love his purple-pink hair extensions, want!
Rockerrrzz
Playing afool with Singapore’s signature chilli crab
Crane stance Who says dance moves can’t be animal-inspired?
His signature flute-playing pose
Victory sign He must be relieved his night of horrors was wrapping up soon. The crooner remarked that this would be his most memorable concert to-date lol
Oh yeah, jump higher!
Looking cool
Thanking the audience
This was definitely one of the most unexpected, and most enjoyable concerts I have been to!
